How do silicone products go from mold opening to finished products?

Do you want to know how the silicone products we often see are produced?

At present, we have two methods to produce silicone products:

1. The silicone product material made by the product process of mixed rubber solid molding is over-vulcanized with peroxide, which requires a variety of processes such as rubber mixing, opening, trimming, weighing, molding, tearing and flash. Using this process to produce silicone products, it is mainly used for low-end silicone products.

 

2. Liquid silicone rubber injection molding products, this process is to directly buy back two-component sealed barrels of silica gel, and use the liquid silicone rubber injection molding machine to directly produce. After loading the machine, the entire material flow is conducted in a sealed state, without human intervention, and will not be contaminated. Moreover, the materials are made of platinum as vulcanizing agent, with excellent environmental protection performance.

 

Production process:

1. Draft design. The drawing design is generally based on the size of the sample provided by the customer. If the customer cannot provide the sample, we can charge the customer to complete the design and production of the drawing according to the customer's requirements.

2. Open the mold. The mold opening is completed by the silicone mold master on the CNC machine tool of our company according to the designed programming times. Some more difficult parts need to be discharged by the copper worker of the spark machine.

3. Color mixing. According to the color number on the World Pantone color card specified by the customer, the color difference of color matching is very small, and 98% can be produced only when it is close to the color plate.

4. Approved materials. The required materials are environmentally friendly silicone materials, and the hardness can be selected from 30 degrees to 70 degrees.

5. Upper mold. After the mold is installed on the exit table and heated to the appropriate temperature, the output value of a machine is about 100000 pcs. per day

6: Finished product inspection. After the product comes out, it is checked by the workshop quality personnel.

7: Self-disassembling and trimming. After passing the inspection by the Quality Control Department, the product shall be sent to the Process Department for trimming.

8: Finished product inspection. After trimming, it is the finished product. It is also necessary to send the finished products back to the quality control department for trimming quality, and determine whether there are unqualified products, if any, it will be reworked.

9: Packaging. The packing of qualified products shall be stopped according to customer requirements

10: Seal the box. After the packaging is completed, seal the box and deliver it to the warehouse for shipment.
